This is a social annotation assignment designed to be used with “Shame” by Dick Gregory, but could be applied to other texts.
Assignment #
As you read this article, you will notice that I have sprinkled a few questions throughout the text. Though you may respond to these questions, you are not obligated to do so. You may respond to any portion of the text in any way:
- ask questions
- define vocab
- make connections
- make inferences
- make predictions
- respond to classmates
No matter how you respond, to earn full credit, make at least six additive annotations. Each annotation should be a minimum of 25 words; you may of course go over that word count.
