To create an annotation that only you can see, follow the steps below:
1. Highlight the selection you wish to annotate and click on the “Annotate” button in the adder.
2. Write your annotation in the text editor, then click on the arrow next to the “Post” button.
3. Select “Only Me” from the drop-down editor.
4. The text of the “Post” button will change to “Post to Only Me.” Click this button to save your annotation.
Once your annotation is saved, you will see a lock icon in the annotation card, indicating that your annotation is private. You can edit the privacy of your annotation at any time by clicking on the pencil icon at the bottom right of the annotation card:
