Hypothesis Account Manager
Location: Remote (USA)
Hypothesis is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our existing customers, ensuring they receive ongoing value from Hypothesis.
This is a hybrid role focused on building strong relationships, driving adoption, and expanding existing accounts — while also identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. A day in the life
- Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of customers, building long-term relationships with department heads, procurement, and finance stakeholders
- Own net revenue retention (NRR) targets by identifying and executing expansion opportunities such as usage growth, tier upgrades, and product add-ons
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring timely contract execution and accurate forecasting
- Conduct semesterly Business Reviews to summarize platform impact and present expansion proposals tied to measurable customer outcomes
- Proactively monitor account health, identify churn risks, and communicate insights to leadership
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, discovery meetings, and product demonstrations
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all customer interactions, renewal forecasts, and pipeline data
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with product and marketing teams to improve the user experience
You have
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a hybrid sales role
- A track record of meeting or exceeding retention, expansion, and revenue goals
- Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels
- Experience managing renewals and contract negotiations
- Comfort with CRM tools and maintaining clean, accurate pipeline data
- The ability to succeed in a fully remote work environment
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- SaaS experience, ideally in EdTech or a mission-driven organization
