Hypothesis Director of Partnerships Heather Staines was joined by Kenneth Gleason, HighWire’s Senior Product Manager, and Heather Norton Blackburn, Director, Scholarly Journals at ADA to explore how Hypothesis collaborates with HighWire publishers like the ADA to support and host annotations that enable authors, editors, invited experts, and readers to engage in discussion directly on a publication’s version of record.
The webinar started with a short presentation, including key publisher use cases, the benefits of interoperable, standards-based annotation, a demo of annotation capabilities, an overview of options, including annotation groups, why and how ADA is using annotation, and how to get started with annotation in HighWire. We also had time to discuss questions and implementation scenarios with attendees.
